Single Lid Cases

Pelican Hardigg single lid cases set the industry standard for ruggedized shipping cases.  With over 350 sizes, the Hardigg single lid case's standard features including a molded-in gasketed parting line, anti-shear tabs at each latch and hinge location, recessed handles and latches, male/female stacking ribs and molded-in metal inserts for latch and hinge attachment provide you a case with an exceptional strength to weight ratio.

Transporting a UAV engine across the world is not an easy task.  Hardigg Deck Cases provide for easy loading and unloading of your equipment while offering it protection from shock, vibration, drops, dust and moisture.  These cases use cradle suspension systems utilizing elastomeric shock mounts and engineered metal frames designed specifically to your equipment.  These cases are designed from Hardigg's over 350 single lid case sizes, so no matter what size equipment you are trying to protect we can handle the job.

Pelican Hardigg Flangemount cases are made to hold panel mounted equipment.  These cases have a molded-in support shelf with threaded inserts.  These cases allow for easy fastening of your panel equipment.  Available options include a hinged aluminum panel in the case lid, and an aluminum mounting panel.  The threaded inserts in this case are all 1/4-20, UNC-2B, THD. 

If your requirement calls for a Pelican Hardigg single lid case that meets specific MIL-SPECS we can help.  Thousands of Pelican Hardigg single lid cases have been certified under various MIL-Spec testing procedures.  Testing done includes 48 inch free fall drop, fungus resistance, salt fog, cargo bounce, temperature and humidity, submersion, vibration limits and low pressure (altitude).  If case testing is required, Pelican Hardigg's facility includes a state-of-the-art in house test lab with the capability to test cases using a walk-in environment chamber for extreme temperature testing, computerized vibration table, and computerized drop test equipment.  If you have a MIL-SPEC requirement please one of our design specialists to discuss your needs.

Even with over 350 sizes of Pelican Hardigg single lid cases, sometimes you need a size that is just not standard.  With Hardigg's cut and weld technology, standard single lid cases and be cut and welded to make a single lid case smaller or larger in any direction. This saves having to pay for a new mold and the completed cut and weld case is just as strong and watertight as a standard case.  Our design specialists can usually find a standard case to meet your needs but when they can't this technology is a real cost saver.
